Supporting local people living with terminal illness and their families Hilton Nursing Partners take on a challenge and raise a massive £1,842.84 for the Heart of Kent Hospice as part of the charity’s Shop Takeover Challenge.

Coming out of their comfort zones, Hilton Nursing Partners staff, who are ordinarily freeing up hospital beds and getting patients out of hospital and recovering in their own homes, took to retail in a bid to bolster funds for the charity by taking over the Hall Road HOKH shop in Aylesford.

Alison Worsfold, head of health, quality and clinical governance at Hilton Nursing Partners says: “What a challenge, we entered the challenge as two competing teams to see who could make the most money. Group one raised £918 and group two raised £856 both through the sale of various shop items. We all really enjoyed the experience and are so pleased we were able to support such a great cause.”

Claire Whybrew, corporate partnership manager from the Heart of Kent Hospice’s Shop says: “We are delighted with the results and on behalf of everyone here, thank you so much for supporting us in this way.”
