SureCare, one of the UK’s fastest growing care companies, has opened a new franchise in Bromley.

SureCare Bromley will supply people in the area with a range of dedicated care services including person centred care for the elderly and vulnerable, child care, home services and staffing solutions for care homes.

The new franchise, based in Beckenham, is owned by husband and wife team Victor and Jennifer D’Arcy-Smith. They have already taken on ten staff from the local area and are looking to recruit more care workers over the coming weeks. One of their sons Mark, 22, who recently graduated from Canterbury University with a Business Management Degree, is also supporting the business.

A £51,000 funding package from HSBC facilitated the opening of SureCare Bromley. The funding has allowed the business to provide extensive staff training prior to the official launch, ensuring quality care can be delivered to those using the service.

Jennifer D’Arcy-Smith, Managing Director of SureCare Bromley, said: “There’s a national crisis in health and social care so we’re delighted to have opened a CareSolve franchise in our borough. Quality is at the heart of everything we do and we are adding that personal touch to care that most people are deprived of.

“Victor and I have both experienced what it is like to lose close family members and we are determined to create a care experience that honours and respects every individual we look after – just as we would want for our own family.”

SureCare Bromley has invested in an intuitive cloud based software system which helps its care workers manage and record every visit as well as freeing up more time to care.

The system enables all care professionals to work together to provide person-centred and quality care.

Lucy Wynn, HSBC Area Director for Business Banking South London, said: “Despite both being new to the industry, Victor and Jennifer have a real passion for providing quality care in their local area and we are delighted to have assisted them with the opening of SureCare Bromley.

“We were deeply touched by the circumstances in which the company was founded and with the £51,000 funding provided by HSBC, SureCare Bromley has the opportunity to offer local residents personal and dignified care during the hardest of times.”

Gary Farrer, managing director of SureCare, says: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our Bromley franchise.

“Like many of our franchises nationwide, Victor and Jennifer are operating SureCare Bromley as a family team. Having a close knit family unit at the helm is a great advantage as the degree of familiarity and trust amongst key decision makers helps a business to run smoothly, efficiently and ensures it is kept in good hands.

“At SureCare, we are committed to providing a wide range of exceptional care and support services for everyone from busy parents requiring babysitting to those in need of personal care and support in their home.”

SureCare HQ in Chester is run by MD Gary Farrer, his son Josh, the company’s Franchise Sales Manager, and his daughter Naomi, National Training Manager.
