Surrey care home hosts dating night for Valentines

    Camberley’s Kings Lodge care home is opening its doors to the public for a special dating evening on Wednesday 14 February.

    The home, run by Aura Care Living, is allowing single over 65’s into their luxury Kings Bar, situated within the main building, for champagne and canapés.

    Aura Care’s Nicki Kenealy explained: “The Kings Bar is such a romantic setting and a great environment for socialising.”

    “We have never heard of a date night for the over 65’s and we believe that we can provide a suitable setting with Kings Lodge. We are not trying to play cupid, we see it as an excellent opportunity for people of a certain age to socialise,” she added.

    The 64 bed Camberley care home opened for in the summer of 2017 and is set in two acres of woodland on Camberley’s Kings Ride. It also offers specialist dementia care for in need of extra support at a certain time in their life.
