Shaw healthcare expands healthcare provision in Poole

    One of the UK’s leading healthcare providers will start providing home care at three of Borough of Poole’s extra care facilities. Shaw healthcare will be providing over 1500 hours of care to residents at Borough of Poole’s extra care services – Trinidad, Delphis and Belmont.

    Shaw was recently selected through an open tender process to provide care at a new council-owned care home in Poole, Figbury Lodge, which will provide specialist nursing and dementia care when the 80-bed care home on Mitchell Road when it opens in summer 2019.

    Shaw will be transferring employees across from the incumbent care provider through a TUPE process and will begin delivering care on February 8th 2018. The volume of care delivered will escalate in a phased approach reaching 1900 hours of care by March.
