Healthcare Homes acquires Woodbridge-based nursing home

    Healthcare Homes Group has today announced the completion of the purchase of Haughgate House Nursing Home in Haugh Lane, Woodbridge. The group has acquired the home from previous owners, Marion and Mark Carter, who are moving on to new ventures.

     

    Haughgate House Nursing Home is a high quality service that provides nursing care for up to 31 older people. It currently has a ‘Good’ rating in all areas inspected from the Care Quality Commission and has developed a local reputation for providing warm and friendly care, delivered by a dedicated team of professionals.

     

    The acquisition takes Healthcare Homes’ portfolio of high quality residential and nursing homes up to 36 across 12 counties including Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Kent.

     

    Talking about the addition of the home to the group, Gordon Cochrane, Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Homes Group said: “We are delighted to have completed the purchase of Haughgate House Nursing Home as it really has an excellent reputation in the local area for delivering high quality nursing care, in a lovely setting. We look forward to working with the existing team to continue delivering a quality service to people from across the Woodbridge area.”

    The purchase completed on 15 February 2018 for an undisclosed sum.
