Goldcrest House is helping to keep the homeless of Goole wrapped up and warm this winter with a donation of handmade hats and scarves to local charity, Mission Trinity.

Service users at Goldcrest House put their knitting skills to good use during a creative workshop and created woolly hats and scarves for Mission Trinity, a drop-in service offering free meals, comfort, help and a welcoming shoulder to those sleeping rough.

Trish Patrickson, registered manager at Goldcrest House says: “We are always looking for ways to help those in our community who may be less fortunate. The cold weather inspired service users to donate their creations to Mission Trinity in the hope they would bring a bit of warmth into somebody’s day just like a big hug.”
