Residents at Chirk Court care home were treated to a professional ballet performance recently thanks to visit from ‘The Ballet Pod.’

Mandi Southern, Activities Coordinator at the care home, which is managed by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association, said:

“The performers, made up of dancers Clare and Ann Wall, along with pianist and dancer Michael Wall, performed a range of pieces to vintage songs much to the delight of residents. Staff and residents also joined in with their last Dance of a Charleston which was great fun, and we’re all really looking forward to their return as part of our Christmas events programme.”

Care Home Manager Lisa Johnson added: “There’s a wide range of activities for residents throughout the year with ideas for our events often coming from the residents themselves. It’s always lovely to welcome guests and visitors here who really engage with residents.”
