Kent care operator Peter Zhang exchanged his usual business suit for running shorts and shoes when he joined more than 100 other runners who took part in the recent 10K Resolution Run in local beauty spot, Mote Park, Maidstone, in aid of the Stroke Association.

Peter is Managing Director of home care provider Caremark (Maidstone) who deliver bespoke care and support to vulnerable individuals in their local community; supporting clients who have suffered a stroke is part of the service they offer.

Throughout 2017 Caremark (Maidstone) will be supporting Stroke through a selection of fundraising activities, partnering with the charity to raise funds and educate the public about the dangers of stroke.

Commenting about the event Peter said: “I am so glad that I took part in the run.  It was great meeting nice people, many of them who came in memory of their loved ones; I heard some beautiful stories about them.”

With great weather, the event was well supported by families who came to enjoy the day and support the runners.

“I want to thank the Stroke Association South East team for organizing this wonderful event for all of us to enjoy,” Peter added.
