Tenants of Watling Court Extra Care Housing Scheme didn’t put all of their eggs in one basket over the Easter holidays, with plenty of fun activities taking place.

With Easter decorations adoring the home and a bustling activity calendar, it would be difficult for tenants of the Ifield Way housing scheme not to get into the spirit of the Easter holidays.

Tenants spent the week participating in an array of Easter themed activities, including baking and decorating cupcakes and cookies, crafting their own Easter bonnets for their annual parade and tucking into an afternoon tea, served with delicious hot cross buns.

In addition to this, they enjoyed an egg hunt, which took them on an expedition across the scheme in search of prizes as well as a couple of rounds of Easter themed bingo on Easter Monday and a raffle, with an abundance of exciting prizes to be won.

Helen Goulding, scheme manager of Watling Court commented: “There really is never a dull moment here at Watling Court, there is always something going on and never is that truer than during a special celebration or holiday.

“The tenants enjoyed the activities so much, they sent the staff a card to thank them for their hard work.”
