A morning of pampering treatments went down a treat with residents at The Abbeyfield Kent Society’s Dene Holm Residential Care Home in Northfleet.

Staff brightened up the residents’ day at the Dene Holm Road care home last week, when they treated them to a therapeutic morning of indulgence and relaxation.

Residents of the home were treated to hand and arm massages, as well as manicures, from the on duty staff whilst they warmed up with a hot cup of tea and nattered away.

Chris Hutchinson, home manager of Dene Holm commented: “With the weather so frosty outside, our residents are getting involved with cosy and relaxing activities, such as crafts and massages, until it’s a bit warmer and we can go out on day trips!

“The residents loved the morning of pampering and they all mentioned that they felt very relaxed and calm after, so much so that we are aiming to make it a regular activity.”
