Huntingdon care home has visit from local MP

DSC_0058Local Huntingdon Care Home Ferrars Hall had a visit recently from Huntingdon MP Jonathan Djanogly. Home Manager Yvonne Duffy gave Mr Djanogly a tour of the brand new care home on Ferrars Road, followed by afternoon tea with the residents.

Ferrars Hall Care Home provides residential and specialist dementia care in a luxurious environment tailored to fulfil the needs of the residents, but at an affordable cost to the local community.

With 66 ensuite rooms, the stunning Ferrars Hall Care Home boasts a beauty and hairdressing salon, a family room, a café, shop and cinema to entertain residents and their families. Spacious lounges and dining rooms overlook an enclosed garden and a variety of events and activities offer opportunities to socialise and make new friends.

The Home, which officially opened on the 12th of June, is owned by industry leading family business Country Court Care, who are renowned for delivering “family value centred” care and became proud winners of the Health Investor’s ‘Residential Care Provider of the Year’ award in 2015, and 2016 finalists.
