July_15th_event_CSPeople living in Chipping Sodbury are being invited along to the local Baptist Church on Friday morning to enjoy free coffee and cake.

The event has been organised by Bluebird Care, an organisation that provides care and support to people living in their own home.

Jack Whitfield, Managing Director of Bluebird Care South Gloucestershire, said:

“As an organisation at the heart of the community, we have a heart to host and support events that benefit local people.

Too often people, especially the elderly, feel isolated and lonely in their own homes – which is why it’s important to have events like this that people can attend.

Bluebird Care is a local provider of care in the home. They specialise in working with customers who live with dementia, physical and learning disabilities, and work alongside their families, social services, GPs and Clinical Commissioning Groups to ensure each person receives the care they need.

Free coffee and cake, with a bit of light entertainment, will be served on Friday 15th July from 10.15am – 12 noon at Chipping Sodbury Baptist Church.
