Carers at Holcroft Grange, the CLS-run care home in Warrington, were invited to enjoy a relaxing pamper day in recognition of the contributions they have made to the care home, the residents and their families.

Organised by and held at the care home, the pamper day was run by Warrington day spa, Spa Beautiful, whose staff donated their time to give back to Holcroft Grange’s hardworking team. Care home staff enjoyed a range of beauty treatments, including facials, massages and manicures. Residents at the home were also welcome to enjoy the treatments on offer.

The pamper day was held as part of Carers Week 2016, an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

Shirley Paton, Home Manager at Holcroft Grange, commented: “Everyone at Holcroft Grange would like to say a huge thank you to Spa Beautiful for donating their time and treating our carers to such an amazing day.

Carers Week is a great opportunity to recognise the carers at Holcroft Grange and celebrate their hard work. Our people are our most important asset, and it’s thanks to their efforts that we’re able to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.”
