Mayor joins in with Cotman House BHF fundraiser

    Caring Homes-care industry newsFelixstowe Town Mayor, Cllr. Doreen Savage joined in the fun at a fundraising coffee morning at Cotman House and Lodge in aid of the British Heart Foundation The event at the Caring Homes Felixstowe care home raised £237 for the BHF’s Wear It. Beat It campaign.


    Staff at the home dressed in red and donated to this worthy cause, while a raffle and photo booth added to the occasion. The delicious array of cakes included a heart-shaped chocolate cake and cupcakes with heart decorations.


    Leanne Greeves, Home Manager for Cotman Lodge and House, said: “We are pleased to support the British Heart Foundation and delighted that the Mayor was able to stay the whole morning to help our fundraising efforts.


    “Everyone really enjoyed the occasion and the residents got into the spirit by dressing up in feather boas, wigs and hats.”


    Cotman House and Cotman Lodge is a Caring Homes care home, providing residential care for up to 61 elderly residents.
