Local Yarm community get to enjoy care home’s garden party

Akari Care-care industry newsA Yarm care home has hosted its annual fun-filled garden party for the community, to the benefit of its residents.

 

Ayresome Court Nursing Home, which is operated by Akari Care, opened its doors to the local public for the event, which raised a total of £293.75 towards the home’s residents’ fund.

 

Guests, residents and staff were treated to live entertainment and various other enjoyable activities, including raffles and a cake stall.

 

Lin Cordey, Manager at Ayresome Court, said: “Our open days and events are always well received by the community, and this year’s was no different. It was an enjoyable day for all and the money raised will benefit our residents greatly, and allow them to enjoy further activities and treats here at Ayresome Court.

 

“I would like to thank everyone who came to the open day and made it a special day, with special praise to the volunteers, as without them, it wouldn’t have been possible.”

 

Based on Green Lane, Ayresome Court Nursing Home provides nursing care for up to 43 elderly residents.
