Accord Group-care industry newsThe Accord Group, one of the largest housing groups in the Midlands, is to create up to 20 new jobs in Telford and Wrekin to deliver care at home services.

The housing provider, which also offers health and social care to 80,000 people across the region, is looking to recruit for personal care assistant roles that will work with customers in the local community, in their own homes.

Over the last few years, the Accord Group has seen an increase in demand for more care at homes services as a result of people living longer and early prevention measures, to ensure people can stay in their own homes for longer.

Rachel Lloyd, Resourcing and Talent Manager at the Accord Group, said: “We are delighted to announce that we are to create 20 new jobs in Telford.

“We deliver excellent hands on experience training and we are looking forward to taking on board people who are looking to enhance their career in care or to start a great career in care.

“The roles will be offered as a mix of zero hours and contracted hours so flexibility is available and as an employer the Accord Group pays pay travel time and mileage costs.”
