There was a very special celebration at Stokefield Residential Care Home on Monday 4th June. Besides joining in all the fun and games at its grand Jubilee Féte, the Mayor of Woking, Councillor Michael Smith, presented Care Home Manager, Ann Duddridge, with a special award to mark her 30 years of service at the home.
Ann’s story is almost a fairy tale. She started working in Stokefield’s kitchen in May 1982, subsequently joining the care staff, and becoming Deputy Manager over the next 23 years before being appointed Manager in 2005.
Congratulating Ann on her achievement Julien Payne, Managing Director of Galleon Care Homes, owners of Stokefield, says: “Ann has worked incredibly hard to get to the top. She has kept the service we provide at Stokefield at a really high standard and is highly respected by staff and residents alike. The board of directors, her colleagues and our residents all want to congratulate
Ann and to thank her for her outstanding dedication and service.”
