Care home group CEO Arti Poddar is delighted to announce the appointment of Liz Campbell as Manager at Mohsen Care Home a 63 bedded home for older people in Pollok, Glasgow part of Lotus Senior Living.

Liz, who lives in the Pollok is originally from Elderslie, worked 16 years for the Civil Service and has previous experience in the care sector in management roles previously to being appointed Manager at Mohsen. She has a degree in Adult Nursing from Glasgow’s Caledonia University and is married with two children.

My person-centred care approach means that you will be respected as an individual and treated with dignity. Because each person’s needs are so different, all our residents have a personal care plan that outlines details of their care and recognises their individual preferences and needs. These plans help us tailor the care and support we give and I will continuously promote this approach throughout our home.

Liz said: “I am looking forward to my new role at Mohsen Care Home and I hope that I can improve on what is already an excellent service provided to residents. This is highlighted through the home’s very good quality grades”.

“My previous roles have helped me to develop the skills which I will use to manage staff and ensure that everything at Mohsen runs as smoothly as possible.”

Managing Director, Arti Poddar said: “Mohsen Care home delivers specialist care that brings significant improvements to the quality of life of older people rather than institutionalise them. Our aim continues to be, to provide the quality of care that would be good enough for a member of our own family – a type of care that promotes living without losing one’s independence or giving up lifestyle choices to live in a secure environment.”

“I believe that all similar establishments provide good care, but the difference between a good home and a lesser one is very minimal. Staff are therefore encouraged and supported to achieve a higher standard in order to ensure the home continues to provide the best possible care.”

“Liz has a really strong background in care and we’re delighted to welcome her as Manager at Mohsen. We’re sure all the staff and residents will benefit greatly from her management.”
